Hello Everyone!    

We had a really fun evening last Thursday evening! Hope you were able to join us...local author James Daos signed both of his children's books: ANTS ON THE RAINBOW...YOU'LL NEVER KNOW,  and  ANTS ON THE RAINBOW...SURF COLONY...THE SEARCH BEGINS! ..while his friend cooked up batches and batches of "Grandma Kane's" fried rice! Everyone who stopped by our store during the 2nd St. Stroll and Savor were in for a special  treat..a signed book and a free sample of delicious fried rice! It was a very festive evening on 2nd St., and if you haven't ventured down to experience a Stroll and Savor event, try to do so next time, lots of fun to be had! Thanks, James, for making the evening a special one for those who happened by our store!  And... If you were unable to make this event, we do still have some autographed copies available - they make great gifts! 

Please join us tomorrow -Sat Aug 27th- from 2-4 for yet another local author signing.   David Hernandez will be signing his new book of poetry: HOODWINKED.  We hope you will stop by and meet David...buy a book or two of his...and help support one of our local authors. ..we thank you in advance!
