ArtistLed Announces New Release

ArtistLed announces the release of its newest recording, Clarinet Trios, featuring pianist Wu Han, cellist David Finckel and clarinetist David Shifrin. The recording includes two of the most popular works from the clarinet chamber music repertoire: Beethoven's Trio in B-flat Major, op. 11 and Brahms's Trio in a minor, op. 114, paired with four selections from the romantic Eight Pieces, op. 83 by Max Bruch.

Wu Han, David Shifrin and David Finckel will be performing repertoire from the recording on January 27, 2012 at the Harris Theatre in Chicago, Illinois; January 28, 2012 in Columbus, OH, presented by Chamber Music Columbus, and on January 29 and 30, 2012 in New York at Alice Tully Hall, presented by The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

In David Finckel's words: "This project has as much to do with our guest artist
David Shifrin as it does with the music itself. We have long regarded David as a consummate artist, one whose unsurpassed instrumental ability is matched by a deep and ever-evolving musicality that makes playing with him always a creative adventure."
