The Red Tent

Anita Diamant's book, The Red Tent, birthed an international movement of women gathering monthly in their local communities to recreate the women's tent from biblical days, the place where women would go during their "moontime" to rest, be cared for by other women, celebrate their femininity, listen to the elder women's story telling, and learn women's wisdom.

The Gathering Inn is considering establishing a Red Tent group here and are wondering what level of interest that would have for you.

Please call (978-820-1139) or email us if you are interested in more information.

July 2, 2012
Greetings!

July is the time for warm breezes, lazy days in the hammock, trips to the beach, a laid back no-school schedule, salads, fireworks, cookouts, campfires, picnics in the park, band concerts, and dragonflies.

We can help with some of those: the lazy days, the relaxed schedule, salads, music in the park, and dragonflies.  Preview our summer schedule and you'll see how.

In the meantime, we are hard at work building the new schedule for fall and winter. Check the preview below so you can mark your calendars now. But right now, maybe I'll just take a few minutes and go outside and drink deeply of this perfect summer day.  Why don't you do the same!

MERRY'S MUSINGS
Merry ColeThe End of Drama

When you live in complete acceptance of what is, that is the end of all drama in your life.  ~ Eckhart Tolle ~

This quote from Eckhart Tolle sounds so inviting at first.  Who wouldn't want an end to all the drama?  It seems everywhere we look, there is some crisis-political, environmental, security, health care, and overblown rhetoric on all sides.

When we look at our own lives, we all have family and friends who are having financial worries, relationship challenges, illness.

Drama everywhere.  It's exhausting.  So what's this about complete acceptance?

RADICAL FORGIVENESS
Radical forgiveness book cover Release the past and move forward with your life
October 14th, 1-4pm

Led by Melissa White

"Radical Forgiveness is much more than the mere letting go of the past. It is the key to creating the life that we want, and the world that we want. It is the key to our own happiness and the key to world peace. It is no longer an option. It is our destiny." ~ from www.colintipping.com

This workshop will introduce the concepts of Radical Forgiveness and will culminate in a Radical Forgiveness Ceremony.  One client of Melissa's had this to say:  "although reading and understanding Radical Forgiveness on an intellectual level is helpful, having a loving, open facilitator like Melissa White advanced my process by a quantum leap.  Thank you Melissa.  You continue to change my life every day."

Pre-registration required. Cost $40 Special reduced overnight rate available. Registration deadline, October 7th
