Dear (Contact First Name),
New England in the Fall is a metaphor for transformation. The trees have brilliant leaves, moving into a time of dull colors and re-gathering energy, and finally re-emerging into new bright green growth in the Spring.
That's what The Gathering Inn is all about--taking time to rest, go inward, and be transformed and prepared for what new life is waiting to be birthed in you, for what is trying to emerge.
In addition to our always available private retreat options, we've recently had some wonderful events and workshops. If you missed them, check out the new offerings listed below to find the perfect renewal for YOU, and plan your time of rest and transformation.
Have an Awesome Autumn!

Kairos Living in a Chronos World ~ October 14-16
Joan Borysenko says "In Greek, chronos means "clock time". Kairos means "the eternal present". Now is where chronos and kairos meet, creating a space of limitless possibility. Greek Orthodox priest Killistos Ware, says "The present moment is where time touches eternity."
Do you sometimes feel like the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland- with the clock dictating how fast you move, where you go, what you do? In what ways does your relationship with time impact the quality of your daily life? How might your life be different if you could break free from this bondage to clock time?
Join us for a weekend of sacred time. Discover how to break free from the limitations of time by learning to live life on the basis of eternity, rather than the temporal man-made standards of the world.

Memorial Meditation Garden Dedication
We recently held the dedication of our beautiful Memorial Meditation Garden. Over 25 people attended and 13 women's names now grace the walls of our Garden. The reading of the poem "These Are The Women We Come From" was a moving tribute to the legacy of the women who have gone before us and gifted our lives with so much love and wisdom.
The Memorial Meditation Garden is always open. Feel free to park in our driveway and stroll down to sit, reflect, listen to the water fountains gurgle. Maybe add a contemplative walk in our Labyrinth.
This is an on-going project. There is plenty more room on the garden walls for new names, so if you want to have your Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend remembered and honored, please contact us.

| So many opportunities to learn, to grow, to connect. Won't you take advantage of them? And of course, don't forget that our primary mission is to provide individual women like YOU a place to retreat from the world, be in stillness and tranquility, and re-connect to your spiritual core.
We can't wait to see you at the Inn!
Sincerely,
Barbara Leclerc The Gathering Inn |

A Rock, a Twig,
and a Feather!
(Recently we had a beautiful day dedicating the Memorial Meditation Garden. About 25 people gathered to honor the women in their lives who have passed on, but who have left a model to pattern our lives after and a legacy of love. You'll see why if you read through the following words.)
"What do we owe the women in our lives... those we've come here to honor today and those who have gone before them? Who would we be without the influence of generations of women?
Each of us had or have mothers who taught us the essence of life, and they were taught by their mothers, and their mothers before them, and all the way back through centuries, and ages, and eons, to the beginning of time.
They were the vessels for ancient wisdom, for knowing and being connected to our ultimate feminine parent, Mother Earth. They knew...
