The Gathering Inn

Women Helping Women

March 31, 2011

Greetings!

Believe it or not, there's a blizzard predicted for tomorrow (is Mother Nature playing an April Fools' Day trick on us?), but nonetheless, the days are growing longer, bulbs are already pushing up their buds through the earth and it's Spring! A time of new beginnings, rebirth and renewal - a perfect time for you to indulge in the necessity of a retreat!

Why retreat? Because as soon as you arrive at the Gathering Inn, you'll find yourself retreating from the stresses of life's daily demands and distractions, slowing down, breathing more deeply, relaxing, more able to focus, becoming more peaceful, and reconnecting to your spiritual center.

Retreat space for the Spring is limited. Contact us by phone or email to set aside your time to be renewed.

Yoga Schedule Changes
The Studio at the Inn is offering four yoga classes a week, morning and evening, in a variety of styles appropriate for everyone.

See our Studio page for our revised Spring class schedule and descriptions.

Help Us Out

The Inn is looking to replace our rather old and wobbly kitchen chairs. If you have some chairs in good condition that you're willing to donate, please contact us. We'd really appreciate it!

Labyrinth Lover Needed

Could you be the one to love our Labyrinth back into shape this summer? We have a wonderful opportunity for someone to "adopt" our labyrinth for the summer, rake out the winter debris, reset the stones, and enhance the pathway.  This could be done in very small doses of time, after work some evening, on the weekends, whenever it's convenient.  If you would like to be our secret labyrinth lover, please speak to Merry and she can give you more details.  It would be such a labor of love and so appreciated.  Mosquito repellent provided by the Inn!
