Publishers Weekly gave Rozan's newest novel Ghost Hero a starred review: "Engaging characters, crisp dialogue, intelligent storytelling, and a minimum of violence add up to another winner for Rozan." Dennis Lehane, author of Mystic River and Gone, Baby, Gone, praises SJ Rozan as "Hands-down one of my favorite crime writers working today. SJ Rozan can write sentences that literally make my jaw drop.  To read her is to experience the kind of pure pleasure that only a master can deliver."

Banquet speaker, Eric G. Wilson

Eric G. Wilson, is the Thomas H. Pritchard Professor of English at Wake Forest University, where he teaches British and Train WreckAmerican Romanticism, paying special attention to relationships between literature and psychology. His newest book, Everyone Loves a Good Train Wreck: Why We Can't Look Away, explores our many and myriad forms of morbid curiosity and argues that macabre fascination, far from perverse, is essential for a good life.

The book is also on Oprah Winfrey's list of 18 Must-Read Books for March 2012.

Josh Rothman of The Boston Globe described the book as "A leisurely, light-footed overview of our cultural obsession with doom, gloom, and gore." Wilson is also the author of Against Happiness: In Praise of Melancholy, The Mercy of Eternity: A Memoir of Depression and Grace, and five books on the relationship between literature and psychology.
