We've got a lot of exciting events coming up this month and can't wait to share them with you! If you are still shopping for that perfect Mother's Day gift, there's still time to register for our Hill Country Bluebonnets class on Sunday, May 11th at 2 PM. What an exciting time to be part of the McKinney community with our very own Hollie Cavanaugh in the TOP 4 on Amercian Idol. Town Square Buzz is hosting another Idol watch party TONIGHT on the square at MPAC starting at 7 PM. There will be lots of door prizes including 4 chances to win gift certificates to our studio!

Mark your calendar! Darcy's book signing is coming up on Sunday, May 20th at 2 PM and will be held at the studio. Food & drinks will be provided, so please stop by to congratulate Darcy White and to get her autograph on one of her children's books.

Additionally, I am proud to announce that we raised $427 for the H.A.L.O. Foundation last week. We have many Painting with a Purpose opportunities coming up, so please check our calendar often to find a cause that speaks to you.

SUMMER ART KIDS KAMP in June & July

Aimed at Nurturing Creative and Artistic Expression through Visual Exploration, Drawing, Painting, Collaging, & Art -Journaling

We are so excited to bring you our Summer Art Program again this year. We've got lots of fun & creative projects in store for your little Picasso. This year, our very own, Artist Katie Cline, will host art camp during the week of June 18 - 22 and July 16 - 20. Check out the creativity from our 2010 and 2011 camps. Register today for either June or July! We are also offering sibling discounts!

Our camps are recommended for ages 7 - 14.

Join us and Paint with a Purpose to help raise funds for the Amercian Cancer Society - Team DetermiNation. The DetermiNation team is a group of athletes who dedicate their training and participation in marathons and other endurance events to a lifesaving effort to fight cancer. Read More...

We are proud to support the following programs & events!

American Idol Fever Continues at City-Wide Hollie Watch Party Tonight - Join TSB and the City of McKinney on Wed. night at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St, in downtown McKinney from 7 - 9 p.m. as we root for Hollie. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6 p.m.

WAM's (Women's Alliance of McKinney) Speaker Luncheon with Pam Wenzel - The Women's Alliance of McKinney is happy to introduce Pam Wenzel, Owner and Author of Spa Water as their speaker for the luncheon on Tuesday, May 15th at Stonebridge Country Club. The topic of discussion will not only be Pam's journey through cancer and the creation and inspiration of Spa Water, but we will also be discussing her unique business and what she has done to make it flourish into what it is today. She will tell you about her online initiatives such as Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. As well as her most recent endeavors on TV and her upcoming travels to "Life's Sweeter with Fewer Sugary Drinks Summit" in Washington DC as a speaker.

Team Building Spotlight - PrimeLending

On May 4th we hosted a team building event for the Closing department at PrimeLending. Their goal was to create artwork for their corporate office space while focusing on their core convictions. We facilitated 5 painting projects, each representing a core conviction. This event allowed teams to get to know each other a little better and to share ideas. At the end of the evening, 16 teams came together to display 5 murals. You can see the results on our facebook page!
