OSHA and DOT Have Joined Together in a Campaign to Stop Distracted Driving and Save Lives

 

On June 7, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood released "Blueprint for Ending Distracted Driving", a comprehensive strategy to address the growing and dangerous practice of using handheld cell phones behind the wheel. The plan outlines concrete steps stakeholders around the country, including employers, can take to reduce the risk posed by distracted driving.
