All entrants may bring in their bikes to Princeton Sports in Columbia, the Official Bike Support Team and receive a free safety check. All bikes must be in sound working order. Princeton Sports will also be at RoadRunner Sports during packet pickup on Friday and Saturday, and at bike racking on Sunday morning, to check bikes and helmets. All bike helmets must be CPSC approved (look inside the helmet if unsure). This is a USAT rule and insurance requirement. Sunday -- The BIG Moment!

Sunday, July 25, 2010:
6:30am - 8:00am - Bike Racking
8:30am - Ages 13-15 start
8:45am - Ages 11-12 start
9:00am - Ages 9-10 start
9:15am - Ages 7-8 start
*Start times are approximate - Participants start in waves based upon their age.

Bike Racking and setting up your transition area will take place from 6:30-8:00am.  After that, the first wave of triathletes will enter the pool.  You will be given a colored swim cap when you pickup your packet and you must wear this on race day.  All the people in your wave will have the same cap color as you.

After you finish the swim, you will go into the transition area, put on your helmet, get your bike and walk/run out of transition.  Please wait to get on your bike until a volunteer tells you it's OK.  Be careful on the bike course, and always stay to your right hand side.  There will be people at the turns telling you which direction to go.  There are bike maps and bike directions posted on the website.

As you finish the bike, a volunteer will tell you when to get off (dismount) and you will walk/run your bike back into the transition area.  You will then run out of transition and complete the run course.

When you cross the finish line you will receive a custom finishers medal and hear the cheers of all the people who are so proud of you for completing the triathlon. Congratulations, you are a Winner!

Be sure to read all race instructions on our website carefully prior to race day.

Everyone at CTA is so excited that you are participating and we hope you have a great time!  See you soon!
