Greetings!
Tomorrow is race day, and we have a few last-minute reminders for everyone. Below are all the pre-race instructions sent out earlier this week. Please take a moment to look them over.
Special reminder that packet pick-up is today from noon to 7 at Road Runner Sports. Links and maps are below. At packet pick-up you will receive a neon yellow wrist band that MUST BE worn during the race and will be your admission ticket to The Subaru / Union Jacks' Post-race Bash and awards ceremony after the race.
Events tomorrow will go RAIN OR SHINE.
The Blossoms of Hope Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay start at 7am, the LIFEfest 5k starts at 7:15 and the Cyclefest events start at 7:30.
Timing chip pick up for ALL RUNNERS will be in the Timing Chip Tent in front of the American Cities Building near the starting line.
RELAY teams meet at the CTA van in the GGP parking lot. Team members may take gear bags and clothing to the exchange point at the turnaround. The CTA van will bring 1st leg team members back to the finish line once all relay teams have reached the turnaround.

TriColumbia LIFEfest
| Event Pre-Race Packet Pick-up:
Date: Saturday only, April 24, Road Runner Sports, 6630 Marie Curie Dr, Elkridge, MD 21075, 410-290-2906, www.roadrunnersports.com.
Time: Noon-7 pm only. All entrants must appear in person at the store to get their packets, race #s, etc. There is no race day packet pick-up. A photo ID is required to complete this process.
Special Event Prime: All registrants will receive UNDER ARMOUR technical shirts.
Race Day Parking: Complimentary at The Mall in Columbia, across the street from the Start/Finish Line.
LODGING/TRAVEL: The Host Hotel - Sheraton Columbia Town Center, Sheraton Columbia Hotels: Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel- Hotel Rooms at the Sheraton located right at the race site is the host hotel. For Reservations call: 1-800-325-3535; 410-730-3900.
DIRECTIONS: The TriColumbia LifeFest is held in Columbia, MD, which is located amidst rolling hills between Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. and is about 15mi. from the BWI Airport.

Event Start times: Blossoms of Hope Half Marathon - 7:00am Half Marathon Relay - 7:00am LifeFest 5K Run - 7:15am 100K, 75K & 55K Cyclefest rides - 7:30am The start and finish lines will be by the overpass across from the mall on Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, MD.
Certification: The Blossoms of Hope Half Marathon is a TAC certified course. The cycle courses are all GPS measured and marked.
Maps: PDF's of the 5k, Half Marathon, 55k, 75k, and 100kcycling events are available on the CTA website. A video of the Half Marathon route is available on YouTube.

Cycle Route Marks: 55k; WHITE, Note from Rt. 108/Homewood road intersection this route IS the famous Columbia Triathlon bike course, Follow all marks that say: " CT " 75k: All marks are GREEN 100k : All marks at GREEN.
The 75k and 100k course split at the intersection of Bushy Park Rd and Cars Mill Rd.
The start and finish lines will be by the overpass across from the mall on Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, MD. Parking will be available at the Columbia Mall across the street from the start line. Race management reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
Race Numbers: Bib Color YELLOW: Blossoms Of Hope Half Marathon
Bib Color BLUE: LIFEfest 5k
Bib color RED: Cyclefest
All Runners: Bib numbers must be worn on the front of the body, in full view. Race # belts may be worn.
All Cyclists: Pin on # must be worn on the center of your jersey back.
The vinyl peel and stick # is your bike frame # and is to be placed around the top tube of the bike, clearly visible.
The 1 X 3 # is your helmet # and must be worn on the front/center of the helmet.
Blossoms of Hope Half Marathon Relay: CTA will provide Transport at 0640 from the start area to the Half Marathon Turn point on Grace Drive. Listen for pre event announcement. The timing chip Must be exchanged with your team mate at the run turn point. All runners in the Half will also receive a complimentary prime... a custom TriColumbia Race # belt. Thus, we ask that all relay team outbound runners use this belt to affix their run number. Then at the turn point, you will exchange BOTH the timing chip (fastened via a Velcro band), and unfasten the belt and exchange this with your inbound/second leg runner. All runners must wear their race number on the front of their body, clearly visible.
Runners will then be transported back to the start line when all Relay Teams have completed the outbound leg.

Timing Clocks: There will be a clock at the run finish and at the Half Marathon turn on Grace Drive.
