2011 Employee Campaign Manager
Appreciation Luncheon
The 2011 Employee Campaign Manager (ECM) Appreciation Luncheon was hosted by Carrabba's Italian Grill and sponsored by Heritage Farms Dairy, Inc.
Door prizes were provided by B. McNeel's, Maple Street Grill, Smutherman's Antiques, Bella's Boutique, Trendy Pieces, and Marina's on the Square. Gigi's Cupcakes donated cupcakes for all of the ECMs.
Employee Campaign Managers organize, plan, and carry out United Way campaigns at their respective companies. United Way would not be a success without these volunteers, and United Way is grateful for their support!

Loaned Executives Needed for 2011
The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is now seeking Loaned Executives for fall 2011. A Loaned Executive is a volunteer or appointed employee who will assist United Way during the campaign months on either a part-time or full-time basis.
The success of United Way is not possible without the support from volunteers within the community, such as Loaned Executives. With the support of Loaned Executives, United Way is able to keep overhead costs low, allowing a higher percentage of each donor's dollar to be invested back into the community.

Save the Date for the 2011 Campaign Kick Off
The 2011 Campaign Kick Off with be held on August 25, 2011, from 7:30-9:00 AM at Jason's Deli in Murfreesboro. This year, the Kick Off is being held in conjunction with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce's Business Before Hours.

2011 Community Investment
The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties announced its plans for investing a record $1.77 million to local non-profit agencies and initiatives for the 2011 - 2012 fiscal year. United Way also announced new partners through the grant process. These include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cannon County SAVE, and Greenhouse Ministries.
