For every dollar raised, one person can eat for a day. How, you ask? Through our partnership with Foodshare, the regional food bank, dollars raised in the Walk are multiplied many times over.
If you can't find your sneakers, you can walk with us "in spirit" by supporting a walker on the Friendship Center team of "Archangels," or an individual walker who has chosen the Friendship Center to benefit directly from proceeds raised.
Your donation helps the Friendship Center. It helps Foodshare. And, more importantly, your contribution directly helps the people we serve each day at our soup kitchen and through our emergency needs program.
