We are looking forward to commemorating our 10 Year Anniversary this May with an exciting and unique week long event at the Boston Design Center kicking off with a cocktail party on May 19th. More details about A Decade of Light will follow in a special anniversary edition of our next eNewsletter and in our print newsletter coming out in April.
This is a busy time for us at the Foundation, we have 2 other events in May. Our Mother's Day Cruise to Cure A.L.S. held in loving memory of Joan E. Macleod will be on May 7th and our 3rd Annual A.L.S. Drive Fore the Green Charity Golf Classic is coming up on May 23rd.
We hope you will help us honor our patients and the work that we do and commemorate this very important month, by attending, volunteering, donating a raffle or auction item or by considering becoming an event sponsor.
As our anniversary year unfolds, we continue to welcome thoughts, feelings, or stories you may want to share with us about your experiences with the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation.

| Mother's Day Cruise to Cure A.L.S. |
 The 5th Annual Mother's Day "Cruise to Cure A.L.S." will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011. This luncheon and cruise around Sesuit Harbor in Dennis, MA is held in loving memory of Joan E. Macleod.
Event goers are invited to send or bring their favorite "mom", (sister, friend, step-mom, wife, daughter, grandmother) as a Mother's Day gift and enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing, delicious food, cash bar and raffles, all for a good cause!
The buffet menu includes Lobster Savannah (baked stuffed), Prime Rib, Chicken Caesar Salad, Pasta Primavera, and dessert.

A.L.S. Drive Fore the Green! |
Our 3rd Annual A.L.S. Drive Fore The Green Charity Golf Classic is coming up on Monday, May 23, 2011 and will be held at Pocasset Golf Club. This event benefits our Foundation's Scholarship Program.
Cost is $160 per person, and $600 per foursome ($40 savings and foursomes will be given preference). A dinner and auction following the tournament will be hosted by celebrity Emcee Susan Wornick of WCVB TV 5 News. The tournament is a SCRAMBLE Format, will begin at 1:15 pm and the registration deadline is Monday, May 16, 2011. Hats for the golfers will be provided by Thomas J. O'Neill, Inc. (of Mashpee) and lunch will be compliments of Roche Bros. Supermarkets.The Cart Sponsor is Allied Recycling of Walpole, and two (2) Hole-In-One prizes - A NEW CAR courtesy of Battles Buick GMC of Bourne, and a set of Cobra S3 Max Irons, courtesy of Golf-ol-o-gy of Hyannis.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available and range from $100 Hole Sponsorships to a $5,000 Tournament partner. Most sponsorships ($800 and above) include complimentary foursomes We are also in need of auction and raffle items.
