We are very excited and grateful to share that one of our Shamanic Soul Family, Pat 'Sheewho' Cummins has recently made a generous donation to support the creation of the Venus Rising Air Temple & Breathwork Sanctuary dedicated to healing power of breathwork!The infrastructure is now in place to start building!  Thanks to the generous donations from the Spirit Wolves, Diana Kenney and Pat ' Sheewho' Cummins, the road accessing the Air Temple and Breathwork Sanctuary has been built, a parking area for 20-30 cars has been completed, water lines have been extended to the building site and an extensive septic system has been installed - with a special grease trap for the future commercial kitchen! The Children's Peace Park area has been leveled for a family camping and playing area, rustic fences have been installed and garden beds created for the butterfly and pollinator gardens.  The whole area has all been hydroseeded to prevent erosion and we have ordered trees and plants and put in a small fire pit. The Peace Park will also feature a tipi, an Instar Medicine Wheel sculpture, picnic tables, a large sand box and a 7-foot Peace Pole that says PEACE in seven languages, including Cherokee. We will all help plant the pollinator garden and dedicate the Instar Medicine Wheel during the Sacred Union Ceremony this year during the Wise Wolf Councils. Sheewho has tremendous passion around supporting this vision so that the transformative power of breathwork can be offered to many more people. Her words about what inspired her to contribute to the Air Temple deeply touched our hearts:
"My donation is a thank you for the transformation and love that Venus Rising has offered me through the years. It's a way of gifting back a portion of what I've received through continuing to show up and do the work of spiraling around the spiritual mountain. My very first breathwork was an illegal one. I was a client in a treatment center for alcoholism and I heard that an event was going to happen for the counselors. It sounded life changing. I secretly hid out in my room and went on the journey of a lifetime. At the end of the breathwork journey, I was on a pilgrimage spiraling around a sacred mountain, growing and maturing as I went. My companion was a wolf.
It was about 20 years later before I found Star Wolf, Venus Rising and Isis Cove. Because Shamanic Breathwork and the Venus Rising programs have been so meaningful for me, I want to contribute to others having similar opportunities. For me, transformation is a spiral journey, and the spiritual path (literally and symbolically) winds around a sacred mountain. I continue to come and go and make the journey.
The Air Temple will grow from the side of the mountain and be a sanctuary and a safe haven for others to experience personal pilgrimage into the nature of transformation. I'm calling for others to join me in this contribution, so that the seeds of love and transformation that are sown and gathered in our lives, can be re-sown and continue to grow and support transformation in the lives of others. We are now raising the funds to have the electric lines put in and to lay the foundation for the Air Temple and Breathwork Sanctuary structure. Our goal is to have the structure in place for our Winter Solstice 2012 Celebration!

Lodging: The Retreat House is full. We may have some camping spots still available. If you do not have your lodging in the area reserved, please do so right away. The Councils are happening over Memorial Day weekend this year and the region will be very full of vacationers. Click HERE for a list of lodging in the area.
Volunteers: Each year the Wise Wolf Councils accept applications for a few volunteer positions to help out throughout the weekend in exchange for waiving the land use fee. If you are interested in volunteering, please email: venusrising@shamanicbreathwork.org
Vendors: We have some outdoor space available for Vendors at the Wise Wolf Women's Council. If you are interested in selling your beautiful wares, please down load the Vendor's form on the Wise Wolf Women's page, fill it out and return to Venus Rising along with your Vendor's fee. We are not renting a Vendor's tent this year, so you will need to provide your own. The Vendor's fee has been dramatically reduced to reflect this change.

Star Wolf and Brad are home for a few days before heading out on the road again. They just returned from Alberta, CANADA where they met many new shamanic soul friends at Free Spirit Healing Centre and Wholitix Wellness Shoppe.
