New Classes ... hurry and sign-up!
As we mentioned earlier, if you haven't been to our Class List page recently ... you really owe yourself a visit so you can re-familiarize with our current class lists. So just to get you started, here is a list of the new classes being offered for March. - FROGGING: Learning
to rip out your knitting makes you a REAL knitter! We will teach you
how to ravel back multiple rows and stitch by stitch. There's a
freedom in knowing how to fix your mistakes. Well, this is step #1 in
the process! Come prepared with your homework (homework will be given
at the time you sign up and pay for the class). We know from our survey that many of you requested this class and understand just how important this is in your continued growth as a knitter. Visit our website for more details.
- BABY SURPRISE JACKET CLASS: We
will walk you through the baby-size version of Elizabeth Zimmermann's
famous Baby Surprise Jacket. This darling garter stitch jacket was
designed in 1968 and continues to amaze knitters by its simplicity that
looks nothing like a garment until you sew a couple of short seams. Visit our website for more details.
You may have never thought of it before, but when your friends and co-workers are admiring your knitting, you could tell them about our Beginning Knitting classes and share the joy of knitting with others ... plus maybe they'll stop bugging you to knit those awesome garments for them. *NOTE: Please call or stop by the store to register for classes as we do not take registration via e-mail and our website is not wired to handle this task. |
The Friday Night Knit Club!
New at Knitted Together in 2K10. You
are going to love "The Friday Night Knit Club". This is actually more
of an event than a club ... but the more you join us the more it will
start to feel like your own personal club. We'll meet once a month on
Friday evening for an after hours party. That's right, at 6pm the
store closes and at 6:05pm the party begins. You can come alone or
with your friend, regardless you're going to meet new people ...
seriously, the fun format will guarantee that everyone will get to know
one another ... what a great way to make new friends. We'll provide
some snacks and you're welcome to bring your favorite party dish. We
have all sorts of fun stuff lined up to entertain you, from
professional wine tastings, "yarn tastings", silly games, and much
more. Most of all we have a special night for you and an opportunity
for you to enjoy a community of people that you'll soon call friends.
Check the calendar
to find out when The Friday Night Knit Club meets next ... and be sure
to check your inbox, because the week prior to that Friday night, we
will send out your personal invitation with party details and a chance
to RSVP.
Our first event of the year is scheduled for Friday night March 19th. Currently we're finalizing the details for an extravagant kick-off ... you won't want to miss it. Keep an eye out for the web-letter with all the info.

Images ... having trouble viewing?
We would like to make
a few comments on images. If you are having trouble viewing this
e-mail or if it doesn't look great ... you may need to add us to your
safe sender list ... which will allow the images to download
automatically. Also, with the design and implementation of our
web-store, the e-mail format and Nancy's blog, we have found that
Mozilla Firefox web-browser seems to provide the most consistent
viewing experience. We tried to make everything compatible with as
many browsers as possible ... but somethings will never be perfect ...
these are just our suggestions.
We have also added a link at the top of the page to view our Web-Letter in a web browser. This could be extremely helpful if you are like Tim and have Microsoft Outlook 2007 for your e-mail program.
