Knit Togethers (K-Tog)/Trunk Show
Are you looking for an opportunity to experience being part of a knitting group or club? Do you want to learn new knitting techniques while making a fun project? If you answered yes or if this just sounds interesting ... keep reading to find out more about our K-Togs. K-Togs meet Tuesday or Thursday evening (your choice) and everyone knits the same project together with the help of an instructor. This is not a class (you need to already know how to knit), there is no registration fee (just be sure to buy your supplies here at Knitted Together). The people who join us for these events really have a good time while knitting a fun project and enjoying a sense of community. You can always get more info on the EVENTS page at knittedtogether.com. Join Patti this October and knit the Chorley Wrap from Rowan's Magazine #46 using Rowan's Big Wool. The great thing about purchasing this pattern book is that we are using it for future K-Togs. This wrap is gorgeous and unbelievably versatile to be dressed up or down. Thursday evening is everyone's favorite ... Christmas stockings. There are two options: first you can buy a kit from Judy's Colors, which happens to be our current trunk show (seen in our store now through the 17th) or purchase the Nancy Lindberg Christmas Stocking pattern and knit one out of Cascade 220.
Whichever K-Tog you choose there is still room and time to join the fun ... so come by the store and see the projects and get started now!

Our October focus is once again Yarns and Pattern Books that Inspire! It's easy to continue this theme with so many exciting new yarns in our store. As knitters we could drift off for hours, imagining the fabulous garments that could be made with these amazing fibers ... fortunately with the awesome pattern support offered by the creators of these yarns, we don't have to. You can simply stroll through the pages. So in this edition we are showcasing a couple of the pattern books that provide inspiring support for many of our new yarns. By clicking the photo you'll be directed to our Web-Store where you'll find more specific information, color options and how to buy. Sorry, you will have to come into the real store to see the pages in the books and touch buttery soft yarns. Sublime Luxurious Woolly
MerinoThis extremely soft wool boucle yarn, once knitted will remind you of a comfy fleece, yet styled with brilliance and the luxury of merino wool. 96%

The Sublime Luxurious Woolly Merino Hand Knit Book It's partly why we bought this yarn ... great yarn, easy fun patterns! Araucania Panguipulli 100% merino wool - hand dyed ... no wonder tweed is again so popular. Soft and intense!
 Araucania Collection Book

Book 3 gives support to Panguipulli, mentioned above, Araucania Rehue Solid, shown here on the cover and Rehue Multy and Azapa. Again, the yarns are exquisitely soft, brilliant and intense in color and hue, combined with patterns for anyone - any day of the week.
Schoppel Wolle Crazy
Zauberball Sock yarn never looked so crazy... in a fun way of course! This mixed
up yarn is plied in a tweed like fashion so that the colors blend as they go.

shawls from one or two balls. 75%

Images ... having trouble viewing?
We would like to make
a few comments on images. If you are having trouble viewing this
e-mail or if it doesn't look great ... you may need to add us to your
safe sender list ... which will allow the images to download
automatically. Also, with the design and implementation of our
web-store, the e-mail format and Nancy's blog, we have found that
Mozilla Firefox web-browser seems to provide the most consistent
viewing experience. We tried to make everything compatible with as
many browsers as possible ... but somethings will never be perfect ...
these are just our suggestions.
We have also added a link at the top of the page to view our Web-Letter in a web browser. This could be extremely helpful if you are like Tim and have Microsoft Outlook 2007 for your e-mail program.
