Issue No. 08.12August 2012
 Greetings!

The Dog Days of Summer are upon us, and HPT is gearing up for a HOT season with some COOL shows!

First up, you will want to join The Vocal Chords as they present the Friends of the HP Theatre Cabaret: Sun, Moon and Stars.  The musical numbers will all involve songs featuring Sun, Moon or Stars. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the High Point Theatre!

NC Shakespeare Festival will be with us this September for their production of Romeo and Juliet. We missed NCSF last year, and are delighted for their return. Check out our website for dates, times and tickets.

We kick off our season officially on October 19 with Janice Ian and Tom Paxton, and followed shortly by Cindy Williams in Nunset Boulevard. Please keep your eyes peeled for other wonderful programs at the High Point Theatre, including a major event for High Point Regional Hospital Foundation.

If you or a group you work with have need for quality meeting space, HPT can also accommodate your needs.

HPT would like to welcome Jeff Horney, the new Executive Director for the Theatre Art Gallery. Jeff brings great energy, and love for art and community to the leadership of TAG.  We look forward to working with him to make HPT a special attraction and destination to see quality art work.

Lastly, thank you, our patrons,  for your continued support for HPT, and we look forward to serving your entertainment needs and desires.
 David Briggs
Sincerely,

David Briggs, Director
High Point Theatre
