Signs of spring are all around us, and music is in full bloom at the High Point Theatre. The smooth Jazz sounds of Kim Waters along with the soulful vocals by Maysa Leak are sure to blow you away on April 28th. The Rippington's will round out our season on May 12......Also on May 12th the announcement of our 2012-13 season. This will be your first chance to purchase tickets for next season. The Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman To Close out Theatre's 2011-2012 Season on Saturday, May 12, at 8 PM - 2012-2013 Season to be Announced!
In recent years, Grammy nominated guitarist Russ Freeman has noticed the group's fan base increasing as the Rippingtons' longtime admirers transfer their passion for the music to their children. Inspired by Freeman's travels, the band's albums have formed the life soundtrack for hundreds of thousands of contemporary jazz fans worldwide.
Patrons at the final show of the current season will be "the first to know" when the Theatre announces its Professional Artists Series for 2012-2013!

Save the Date: Picnic in the Plaza Returns to High Point, Wednesday, June 27 - 11 AM to 1:30 PM
The High Point Theatre is proud to announce that it will once again serve as a major sponsor of 98.7 Simon Radio's Picnic in the Plaza, returning to the Mendenhall Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point (Commerce Street) on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
All monies collected during Picnic in the Plaza benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization giving hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Previous events have raised thousands of dollars due to the tremendous support of the High Point Community.
Be sure to save the date! Get lunch for $1 - your choice of an all-beef hot dog or hamburger, chips, fruit and bottled water - and support this most worthy cause.
