Greetings!
Preparing for the holiday season brings to mind many joyous memories of hot turkey, dressing, chilled cranberries, and delicious pumpkin pie. I am thankful for the bountiful blessings of the season, and for our wonderful patrons, friends and staff and sponsors here at the High Point Theatre. In the upcoming months you will be treated to some wonderful local talent presented by the High Point Community Theatre with their production of Miracle on 34th Street and the NC Shakespeare Festival production of Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. HPT will present It's a Wonderful Life: the Radio Play on December 22nd to round out our holiday season offerings. January will bring some very fun events with Dixieland Jazz from Southern Fried Jazz Band. This is a virtuoso group of Dixieland players anchored by the legendary Don Edwards. On a humorous note, keep your eyes and ears open for Deer Camp: The Musical a Sunday matinee on January 29th. Tickets are very reasonable, and will go on sale November 15. We will have some fun incentives to make this a not-to-be-missed event. David S. Briggs, Director High Point Theatre |
