In The Spotlight: Eumir Deodato To Make Rare U.S. Public Appearance
January 2011 Calendar of Events
Coming in February: Dr. Etta, Family Specialist
Greetings!

Happy New Year everyone! I trust each of you had a wonderful Holiday season.

With the beginning of a new year comes new and exciting prospects for the future. Throughout much of this month, the theatre will take time to catch up on routine maintenance and get preparations underway for the second portion of our season. Christmas decor is removed, floors cleaned and polished, comprehensive checks made on lighting and sound equipment, and mechanical systems inspected. We will host High Point's annual MKL Community Celebration next weekend, then Eumir Deodato kicks off the 2011 portion of our Professional Artists Series on January 29 with a rare live US concert.

Time flies quickly so we'll be working on our 2011-2012 season in the next few months as well. If there are artists or shows you'd like to see at the Theatre, email me with those suggestions. After all, you are my greatest source of inspiration!

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you often in 2011.

Sincerely,

Louisa Hart, Director
High Point Theatre
