Direct from China's famous Acrobatic and Circus Arts Center.

Chico World Music Festival
Saturday, Sept. 17 & Sunday, Sept. 18
The 18th annual Chico World Music Festival is coming this month!
That weekend world musicians will bring an international sounds to the Chico State Campus for 2 full days of performances on 4 different stages!
This weekend long event is FREE and takes place at CSU, Chico- both inside and outside of Laxson Auditorium.
As a celebration of international music and culture, there will be youth performances, art classes for adults and kids, a science workshop, and vendors with international art and food.

In his spellbinding lectures, Sir Salman Rushdie peaks of the major themes coursing through his writing, his life, and our world: freedom of expression, religion, pop culture, current events at home and abroad, and East-West relations. His novels include The Satanic Verses, The Moor's Last Sigh, The Ground Beneath Her Feet, and 2008's The Enchantress of Florence. During his Laxson appearance, Rushdie will be speaking on Public Events, Private Lives: Literature and Politics in the Modern World.
