You're invited to the... Join Chico Performances as we celebrate the 17th annual Chico World Music Festival Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 18 and 19. All music and activities start at 11 a.m. on the Kendall Hall Lawn at Chico State and are FREE! The Chico World Music Festival is presented by Chico Performances. A kick-off performance by Ozomatli is scheduled for the evening of Friday Sept. 17, in Laxson Auditorium (tickets required).
Don't miss this weekend of FREE music performances, FREE art classes, FREE crafts for kids, global artisans and international food booths!

Festival Headliner:
Ozomatli
Kicking off the 17th annual Chico World Music Festival will be Ozomatli, performing on Friday, Sept. 17 in Laxson Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

L.A. based Ozomatli plays a notorious collision of upbeat hip-hop,
salsa, cumbia, samba, funk, R&B, and Jamaican ragga. They will take
you around the world by taking you around L.A.
Tickets are required for this performace in Laxson Auditorium. Prices range from $25-$37 and are available online or at the University Box Office 898-6333. Click here to buy tickets now to Ozomatli.
