I wish to sincerely thank all of our families, people served, friends, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and guests for joining us on March 10th as we celebrated our 24th Annual "Dare to Dream" Gala. Your involvement created an evening that was filled with many magical moments that will never be forgotten.

Inspiration and celebration were the hallmarks of the evening Saturday, March 10 as we held our 24th Annual "Dare to Dream" Gala at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Dunwoody.

 

The guest of honor at this year's event was the first-ever enAble of Georgia Foundation Special Education Teacher of the Year, Lauree Lau, who is a special education teacher at Crossroads Second Chance Program-North Campus in Roswell.

Behind the Scenes with Our Gala Volunteers

Erica Dumpel

Gala Volunteer Coordinator Erica Dumpel of Czajkowski Dumpel & Associates recruited her family and a group of about 15 from her Junior Civitan Group to volunteer at our Gala. Mike Hennig brought 4 college students from Minnesota to volunteer. Litisha Sibblis brought 6 volunteers from Aetna. Raedeane Nelson, Lisa Waldorf and Erik Bradbury volunteered the week of Gala at our Roswell office, and Lisa and Eric worked the entire evening of the event.

Staff Member Spotlight  

 

Vija RunelsVija Runels (Vee'-yah) is the Medical Support Services Coordinator at our Buffington Center branch office in south Atlanta. She is a Registered Nurse and came to enAble in early 2011. Since that time, Vija has gotten to know the individuals served and the employees, and loves her work.  

 

 

 

 

 

Chantielle Tally 

 

 

 

Chantielle Tally is the Lead Support Associate at our Grimes Place Group Home in Roswell and has been with enAble since August 2010. She displays a steadfast advocacy and loyalty to the people we serve and their family members, as well as her colleagues.

o thank everyone who voted for us in the Luv Grants for Good Contest. While we did not win one of the grant prizes, it felt good to be one of 15 finalists chosen from 352 entries, and to know we had people rooting for us.
