I love shooting beautiful events. The images below are from a really cool event I had the opportunity to photograph. It was a "mock" wedding to give brides and grooms and insider look at top wedding industry professionals.

My family loves music. My mother is the reason my family loves music so much. She is a brilliant musician and went to Rollins College on a full music scholarship, she plays piano. She also sang with the Rollins Singers and sang for the
grand opening of Walt Disney World. How cool is that?
I was fortunate enough to have her as my junior high and high school chorus teacher and band teacher. I played saxophone and my sister played trumpet...
that is when we weren't dancing with the dance team and twirling with the twirl team respectively
(both teams of which my mother was the sponsor).
And now my mother is helping my father learn guitar...awesome! I admire him because he has also worked a lot on his own and taught himself. He's quite the musician.
Some of the best lessons I learned from my father...read lots of books, teach yourself and practice, practice, practice.
On a sweet side note, my brother-in-law is amazing on the piano and my husband is fabulous on the guitar.
During the holidays we like to get the whole family together for jam sessions :-).
My husband recently hosted an evening of classical music and of course I had to bring my camera along.
While everyone was rehearsing I had some fun of my own snapping away and the images below are some of my favorites and they remind me of my family.
The first 3 are from the event, the 4th one is of my father during one of my visits home.
