Increase Accuracy by Proper Scale Feeding
Accuracy in bagging seed, feed or fertilizer can be increased by the proper hopper design. Free flowing products such as soybeans or grain most often rely on a "Gravity Feed" bagging scale in their packaging operations. In order for these scales and others to offer repeatable product weights, a consistent supply of product is needed above the scale inlet. Repeatability is actually what we are looking for in a bagging scale when we often refer to accuracy.
