Float Mounts Larger Sizes are back!
Float Mounts are bigger and better than ever. You can now order Float Mounts up to 30x40!
Due to their large size we are now manufacturing all sizes 16x24 and larger with an upgraded warp resistant board.

Float Mounts are a sleek and sophisticated way to display images that appear to float out from the wall. This effect is created by taking a print, wrapping it around a padded board and placing a ¾ inch hidden gatorboard on the back.

We offer Float Mounts with three print types that each include their own protective finish - Luster prints (matte laminate protection), Metallic prints (glossy laminate protection) or Fine Art Canvas prints (satin coated protection). These Float Mounts arrive to you ready to hang.

Float Mounts are available in the Black River Imaging Software in the Fine Art Products catalog.

Visit our website for pricing and sizes.

 Set Your Alarm Clock
Set your alarm clock . . . no - not that alarm clock! I am talking about your electronic calendar reminders. Most all email systems have them whether you are using Outlook, Entourage, Yahoo or Gmail.

There's so much to remember to do and so many deadlines and dates when it comes to a photography business - its enough to make anyone's head spin. And while one extra day for proofs might seem like no big deal to you - one more day is forever for your client anxiously awaiting the proofs that you promised them by a certain day!

One of the best things you can get in the habit of doing is setting yourself reminders on your calendar so that you either get a little pop up window reminder on your computer or an email reminder that says "Susan Smith's proofs should be out by this Friday." Set that reminder 2 or 3 days prior to the date you should have them out and do NOT dismiss or delete that reminder UNTIL you have completed the task. If your computer keeps reminding you or that email reminder from your email calendar is sitting in your inbox and you acknowledge it and take ownership of it - it WILL help you to meet your deadlines and not miss them.

And if for some reason you simply cannot meet the deadline, at least the reminder is there so that you can reach out to the client and acknowledge that you are running a couple of days behind but promise them you are working on it. (Share a sneak peak to help make up for the extra days). That is much better customer service than ignoring that you missed the deadline with the client knowing and waiting and contacting you instead. Be proactive. Set your alarms!
