To order a Float Mount you may want to start with one of our templates. Just download the file and select the size you want. This allows for proper image placement, as you will loose a portion of the image that creates the wrapped look.
Once you are ready to order you will need to go into the Black River Imaging Software. Go to the Fine Art Products Catalog and select the tab with Float Mounts. You will now want to choose the folder with your print ready files. Next you will need to select the size and paper type you would like for your Float Mount. The size will be located under the Float Mount tab. Then select the paper type you would like from the options palette. Select the image you want to print from the thumbnails of your files and simply drag and drop into place to order.

File Size Matters
Contrary to what you may have been taught or what you may have come to believe, file size does matter. And folks, bigger is not always better.
With the advent of better and better imaging software, the sky's the limit when considering options for composite images. Often the hapless artist will build a comp image by creating a new file that is 300 DPI for the size they plan on printing. By doing so they end up with a file that's 150 MB or more when expanded.
Our image and printing processes will create anything in our product line beautifully from files that average 25 MB. Files larger than that are overkill and only serve to cause your upload times to become inordinately long.
So, before you go to upload your images, check the file size and resize if need be. You'll be glad you did.
