Hotel safety expert panelists and others at the recent Global Congress on Legal, Safety, & Security Solutions expressed a myriad of concerns in the wake of the 9/11 anniversary. Terrorism planning and preparedness should be at the height of planning given the recent spate of attacks in the Middle East and those affecting Al Quida operations in particular. 
Now that hotel occupancies and average daily rates are on the rise, bank foreclosure alternatives such as a receivership may be another option. Of course, using the courts to agree to your appointing a receiver to potentially sell the hotel asset(s) during it may make sense if a number of factors look to support it in the short term.
