I know I am not the only one feeling the build up for the holidays. I cannot believe it is less then a week before Christmas. I just got back from a wonderful week in Ottawa which began our holiday celebrations with well missed family and friends. It was Kenny's first flying adventure and I have to say he was a rock star, he was intrigued with all the sounds and sights and it helped the flight attendants were very found of him :).

Our original flight home was cancelled due to icy conditions, but before they cancelled the flight we sat on the runway for 4 hrs!
Kenny and I decided to make the most of our time and got to know our way around the cockpit. (You never know Kenny's career choice may be a pilot :)

No this is not Santa it is Gramps :) |
Experiencing Kenny's first Christmas celebration with a heart filled holiday with family and friends reminded me of how much we have to be grateful for and what a ride 2010 has been.
During this time of year, we're all focused on rituals for the holidays. (for example, decorations are the momentos we bring out every year to set our holiday spirit, going to see the Christmas lights, or a Christmas or children's recital) Rituals play a key role in our lives, especially during the holiday season.
This year, I recommend you add another ritual:
take some time to close out 2010 and open the door to 2011. If you have been part of my community in the past you know that a year has not passed where I do not encourage this ritual. Grab your journal, a friend, or your partner and take some time to consider the questions below to guide you in
reviewing the previous year and setting yourself up for a spectacular 2011.
What a better time of the year then now to begin thinking about what
you want to accomplish experience and create in 2011. Check out our
holiday special on our self coaching guide on setting goals that inspire you and move you forward!
