1964-67 Dodge/Plymouth 273 V-8 Pistons
The Dodge 273 "small block" V8 was introduced for the early 60's Darts. Andy Granatelli used the small block Dodge V8's as the foundation for his fuel-injected Indy Car Engines in the late 1960's.
The Dodge/Plymouth 273 came available as an option on the 1964 Dodge Dart and Plymouth Signet, standard on the '65-'67 Dart GT, Coronet, Deluxe, Coronet 440, Coronet 500 and Plymouth Valiant, Signet, Barracuda, Belvedere and Satellite.
Egge Machine and Speed Shop has American Made, poured/cast factory replacement pistons in two compression ratio versions both with 3.625" bore and .020 .030, .040, .060 oversize options available.
The standard piston (L2221) with 8.8:1 compression ratio has a flat top and a compression height of 1.781 inches.
The high compression piston (L2222) has a 10.5:1 compression ratio and a .150 dome top with a compression height of 1.921 inches.

1964-65 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth 426 Wedge V-8 Pistons
"Dandy" Dick Landy took the Dodge 426 Wedge to drag racing history in the mid to late 60's. The stock 1964 Dodge 330, 440, and Polara's 426 Wedge would get 415 hp and a tire smoking 475 ft/lbs of torque with a 4 bbl carburetor. Our pistons are steel strutted around the wrist pin for strength and heat displacement.
Egge Machine and Speed Shop has American Made, steel strutted, poured/cast factory replacement pistons with 4.25" bore and .020 .030, .040, .060 oversize options available.

Neoprene Rear Main Seals for Hemi's
Egge Machine Company now offers great new Neoprene Rear Main Seals for your 331, 354, and 392 Hemis. Made by the good folks at Best Gasket they are easy to install, and holds up to high pressure. Drag strip tested! One of our customers runs it in their blown dragster.
