Well, it's that time once again...Fall Season, Football, Framing and Photos! We're excited about the impending cooler temps and the beautiful colors that paint the landscape...and we're of course, excited about football! Being here in "Big Orange" country everything turns a great Autumn shade of orange...including the people! But we really get excited about doing what we love to do in the Fall...taking lots of photos and making lots of frames for the Holidays! It does become quite a busy time for us with all the activities around, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We're already getting a great response to the Marie Merritt, Civil War Art Exhibit going on now in our gallery. We would love for you to stop in on Tuesday, September 6th and meet her! (read the article below for more details)
September for us is a busy time with switching everything over to a Fall motif and then making serious preparations for the upcoming Holiday Season. And speaking of the Holiday Season, please read below for dates you will definitely want to mark on your calendar.

a collection of Civil War original oil paintings and limited edition giclees by award-winning artist, Marie Burchette Merritt. The exhibit will be on display here at the gallery August 30th - October 1st.
Marie's expressive paintings evoke a sense of timelessness and mystery. Her sensitive handlings of the subjects portray a deep connection to them. Marie says of these paintings, "Although a controversial and tumultuous time in our nation's history, those hardships and strife shaped much of who we are today: people of faith, character and strength. I seek to tell those stories with understanding and honor."

We have a new friend at the gallery; Donna with Sundance Ridge Interiors.
She makes the most incredible window treatments, shades and bedding you have ever seen! She has made us a beautiful cornice adorning our red door and is working on one for our largest front window. We have a portfolio of pictures on hand so you can see some of her beautiful handiwork. If you are looking to really spruce up a room or give it a face-lift, Donna is the one to contact. We've been having some great fun lately with photos; birthdays, soon to be mommy's (and daddy's) and high school seniors. We are "interviewing" for a couple more Senior Models for the Class of 2012 and we are choosing our models for the Class of 2013. If you know of a Junior or Senior who might be interested, please ask them to call us and learn about out Senior Model Program, where they can earn photo sessions and lots of great items for FREE. Fall is always a great time for photos...we'd love to schedule a shoot for you and your family. Start thinking about Christmas cards soon, too. We've been doing what we love to do...creating beautiful images for our clients and turning them into lasting memories!
