Greetings!
Happy 2011 to you!! We hope you had a fantastic Holiday Season and year in 2010. Thank you for being a part of The Red Door Gallery and Portrait Studio. You are appreciated!
We are looking forward to a great year ahead for 2011. We'll be planning some new and exciting things throughout the year and will make a few changes to better enhance the way we do business and serve you, our valued customers. Customer Service is one of our highest priorities and we take that job very seriously. It means everything to us that you entrust our expertise for your valuable artwork, photographs and keepsakes.
We work really hard to make sure we are up on the latest techniques through continuing educational opportunities and training. We want to make sure and provide you with the most current and best choices in quality moulding and matting options. We carry a limited number of moulding companies and are very particular about which mouldings we display on our sample walls. We desire to only offer the best! And, we put a lot of effort into making sure we have choices for every budget. We have invested in making sure we have modern equipment, such as a computerized mat cutter, so we can provide you with intricate design choices that are virtually impossible to accomplish without this type of technology.
We are very discerning and very "picky" about the artwork and merchandise we display and promote. Each artist we represent has been hand-picked and approved by us for their quality of artwork and their personal philosophies on the type of artwork they produce. Again, we only want to offer the best! When we are looking to add new merchandise, we take the time to really evaluate and decide if it's a good "fit" for us and our customers.
With the climate of the economy today, we know it is important for the consumer to be satisfied that they have made good, sound choices when it comes to spending. This is why we promise to put every effort for excellence into all that we do here at The Red Door Gallery & The Red Door Gallery Portrait Studio. We want you to walk away a happy and satisfied customer and friend. We want you to gladly recommend our services to others, because you trust us and our product.
So, here's to a great year ahead...

Featured Artist for January:
Tiffany Caldwell

Tiffany grew up in Houston, Texas with her greatest influences in life and artwork being her artistic father and the rugged beauty of the West. Southwestern scenes, rodeos and horses have always been her favorite subjects to draw and paint. She has always had a natural interest and love for horses.
Her passion for art grew as her parents encouraged her to practice expressing her love for these animals through her God-given artistic ability. She has had prize winning entries at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Contest which showcased her various iconic western themes and is now focusing primarily on horse portraiture.
Her goal is to thoroughly understand and depict the beauty and majesty of these incredible animals through her artwork. She works diligently to capture the personality as well as the true conformation and anatomy of each specific horse.
Tiffany has an incredible way of making each painting appear as if you could just reach in and touch each majestic creature. Her eye for detail is both stunning and intricate. Each painting and drawing capture a physical aspect of the horses that leave you wanting to know more about them.
She has just brought us in some new, brilliantly colorful paintings you will want to see for yourself!

Artwork of the Month ~ January 2011
"Peace On Earth" by Robert Tino
We were visiting Robert in his gallery some time back and he was working on this particular piece. We were immediately drawn to its beauty and charm. We were delighted to see it now available as both a Giclee on Watercolor Paper and as a Giclee on Canvas.
