WindsorEats and the Downtown Windsor BIA present a
FREE Outdoor Movie Screening for the whole family
A free outdoor film screening of "The Princess Bride" will take place on Friday, August 6th at the Pelissier Street and Chatham Street West intersection. "The Princess Bride" is rated PG and WindsorEats encourages families to come down and participate in activities and watch the film under the night sky.
Family activities will begin at 6:30 PM with the movie scheduled for 9:30 PM. Local downtown businesses will also be participating. Slice of Style will be hosting a "mini salon" where moms and daughters can have their nails polished and enjoy chocolate dipped cookies and treats. Vendors will be selling popcorn and cotton candy. So bring a lawn chair and join us for a great movie under the stars!

Eat Your City participating restaurants offer exceptional value and special fixed price menus. Prices are $10 or $15 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner. Each restaurant will offer a unique Eat Your City menu. Reservations are recommended to ensure seating upon your arrival. The meals are per person and do not include beverages, taxes or tip.
Participating downtown restaurants include: Mazaar, Chanosos, Biscuits & Gravy Southern Bistro, Terra Cotta Pizzeria and Elias Deli.
Eat Your City at Slice of Style

Saturday, August 7th 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Celebrate the end of Eat Your City with dessert and coffee at Slice of Style. The chocolate fountain will be flowing with ripe strawberries for dipping and a variety of chocolate dipped treats for you to enjoy. Cost is $5 per person or $15 for a group of 4.

Children's Festival of Art

The Art Gallery of Windsor and CAW Local 444 have partnered to present the first annual Children's Festival of Art. Visitors will enjoy a full and exciting day of FREE performances with music, dance, theatre, puppet shows and more, including new and exciting art activities such as Dr. Oleg's Art Lab, Bubble Madness and Quick Draw artist Darryl Swift. The day will conclude with a National Film Board of Canada program of family-friendly animation favourites.
