Emancipation Day Festival
SketchcrawlWindsor's First World Wide Sketchcrawl
Dieppe Park
Saturday, July 31st 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The Windsor & Essex County Plein Air Society invites you to Windsor's first worldwide sketchcrawl. Meet at Dieppe Park at the foot of Ouellette Ave. (rain or shine) where a photo will be taken to record participation. Sketch at a location of your choosing and at 3:00 PM meet up at Dieppe Park to share results with fellow sketchers.

This is an all ages event in which participation can range for any length of time (draw for 20 minutes or the full day) and any level of ability is welcome from veteran artists to first time sketchers.

WindsorEats and the Downtown Windsor BIA present a
FREE Outdoor Movie Screening
for the whole family


A free outdoor film screening of "The Princess Bride" will take place on Friday, August 6th at the Pelissier Street and Chatham Street West intersection. "The Princess Bride" is rated PG and WindsorEats encourages families to come down and participate in activities and watch the film under the night sky.

Family activities will begin at 6:30 PM with the movie scheduled for 9:30 PM. Local downtown businesses will also be participating. Slice of Style will be hosting a "mini salon" where moms and daughters can have their nails polished and enjoy chocolate dipped cookies and treats. Vendors will be selling popcorn and cotton candy. So bring a lawn chair and join us for a great movie under the stars!
