Downtown Flashback
Windsor Avenue, two streets east of Ouellette Avenue, once ran north to Riverside Drive. The view, looking towards the Detroit River, shows All Saints' Anglican Church. Built in 1855 as a garrison church while troops were stationed at "Barrack Square" (now known as Windsor City Hall Square and Civic Centre) during the Fenian raids, All Saints and the rectory still stand.
