| Earthquake Update |
Our team is on the ground in Haiti and anxious to start working. More than 1100 pounds of medicine and needed supplies accompanied them. Thanks to each of you who donated these items in time to accompany the team in-country. 
Thanks too for those of you who are giving financially to meet the ever increasing needs of our ministry partners and the people of Haiti.
Many of you are inquiring about
serving as medical and non-medical volunteers.
The need for all volunteers was great before the quake and will remain.

The dynamics of scheduling human and material resources during an emergency or disaster can be challenging. Often, unavoidable last minute changes occur that can disrupt the best laid plans. We appreciate how understanding you have been when we are unable to accommodate your dates of availability or specialties. I assure you there will be plenty of work for all of our volunteers.
We have been serving the people of Haiti since 1987 and will be with them through these tough times. We are excited so many have commited to do the same.
