From her birth in York, SC, on March 19, 1925, Georgeanne lived a full and productive life.  She was a loving wife, mother of three, and active in myriad church and community events.  Her compassion for the poor and suffering in Haiti resulted in numerous short-term mission trips where she served at the Hospital of Light. 

Georgeanne and her husband, LMM founder and board member, Dr. E.S. "Buddy" Whitesides shared more than 60 years of wedded bliss.  Dr. Whitesides tribute to Georgeanne as a Proverbs 31 woman says it all. 

 

Her selflessness and willingness to serve others has left a lasting and positive impact.  She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
