Lake Cumberland Grand Prix 2010!
 For the second consecutive year, Lake Cumberland welcomes the biggest
and baddest in speed boat racing as the OSS racing series makes its
much anticipated return to South Central Kentucky at the 2010 Lake
Cumberland Grand Prix on June 4-6 at the Waitsboro Recreation Area in

Lake Cumberland Raft Up 2010
The Lake Cumberland Association is promoting
the largest ever event on Lake Cumberland. The "Lake Cumberland Raft Up
2010" will be a lake-wide event
attempting to break the world record number of boats rafted (moored)
together simultaneously. All marinas on the lake will provide a full
weekend of
fun and festivities Friday, August 13th through Sunday, August 15th,
2010, with the actual "Raft-Up" taking place Saturday, August 14th
between the
hours of noon and 5:00 PM. Grider Hill Marina & Resort has some great deals on Houseboat Rentals for this event. Just call and mention "Lake Cumberland Raft Up" for special rates. We also have some very exciting news. Wildcat Harley Davidson in London, Ky is providing us with a
"Harley Davidson Dyna Glide Motorcycle"
to be raffled off and awarded at the end of the cruise. WOW, wouldn't you just love to take that home! We are going to sell just 3,000 tickets at $10 each and the winning
ticket will be drawn at the end of the cruise on the dock at State Dock. Tickets will be available for purchase from any of the servers or
from Joy Dyson or Linda Gilker between May 1st and the end of the
cruise. You must be over 18 years of age to participate in the drawing. Another new item that we are putting together is an
18 month Lake Cumberland Calendar. The Calendar will be full color containing pictures of the lake we
all love so much. The price of
the calendars will be $10. Limited quantities of the calendars will also be available for purchase at
the various marinas around the lake. The calendars and raffle tickets may be purchased at registration. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen
Foundation (Lexington affiliate). Last year's fundraiser generated over $22,000 for the fight against

Quiet time starts at 12:00 AM CST every night including weekends. The party doesn't have to stop but please respect your fellow boaters and keep the noise down.
