The response to the announcement that our 2010 Total Immersion Programme on FIDIC Contracts was taking applicants was overwhelming. In addition, due to the many requests for other similar programmes, the DBF has expanded the range of programmes that will be offered as separate Total Immersion Programmes. These include Procurement, Claims Management, and Presentation & Advocacy.
These programmes are not for everyone and are
geared to the busy upper level construction executive who wants the maximum
amount of information in the minimum amount of time and is willing to take on
an in-depth and difficult programme.
These truly intensive 6-day programmes vary in size from 6 to a maximum of 9
people with 3-4 trainers per day and are for the busy executive who wants to maximise
their learning experience in a relaxed environment. The programme includes all instruction, materials, room, board, and
transportation from the nearest international airport closest to the programmes hotel venue. Each participant will receive one-on-one training and will live
and eat with the instructors for the entire programme.
Each of our instructors is an expert in their field and provide lively in-depth analysis of the subject matter and make the experience a
truly enjoyable one. In February 2010 we will be offering our FIDIC Contracts
Total Immersion Programme. The culmination of this programme is that each individual attending will have intimate knowledge of the entire range of FIDIC Contracts, how they operate individually and collectively and how to use each to best advantage.
If you think you
qualify to be in any of these programmes please send an email telling us the reason why
you want to take a particular programme and your CV to Jonathan Varoqui at
j.varoqui@dbfederation.orgThe reason we ask for your reasons and a CV is so that we can place suitably qualified individuals in these small intensive groups and maximise the return to all attending. If you qualify for the programme you will be notified and futher details arranged.
