The DBF Total Immersion Programme Update

Due to the immense interest in our DBF Total Immersion Programmes® the DBF is expanding this unique learning programme to include not only its Total Immersion training programme dealing with the FIDIC© set of Contracts but also two new programmes - one on Procurement and the other dealing with Contract Administration.

Each of these programmes is geared to the busy construction executive, lawyer, engineer, architect or surveyor who needs to gain the maximum amount of knowledge in the minimum period of time.

These 6 person 6 day Total Immersion Programmes® are taught by teams of two-three experienced trainers in an enjoyable learning environment thus facilitating each participant's grasp of the subject matter.

As an example the six who are chosen to attend the  DBF Total Immersion Programme®  dealing with the FIDIC Contracts will spend 6 days and nights in a private chateau in France being taught all aspects of the FIDIC set of Contracts including amongst other topics the differences between the FIDIC agreements, how the FIDIC Contracts should be applied to real-world situations, the practical management of claims and the effective methods of dispute resolution, as well as the use of Dispute Adjudication Boards, and the practical management and administration of FIDIC Contracts on projects.

These programmes are not for everyone, and the select few who are accepted will come away with a competent grasp of the entire subject matter, its application and use on projects internationally.

If you would like to be considered for any of these programmes, please submit your CV and letter expressing your reasons for wanting to attend  either the FIDIC© Total Immersion Programme; or the Procurement Total Immersion Programme; or the Contract Administration Total Immersion Programme to: Total-Immersion@dbfederation.org
