One Shot, Hot Shot Photo Contest
Get your photo on the cover of the spring issue of the Fair Dealer magazine, distributed to more than 1,500 fair professionals. Plus, win $100! No entry fee. Open to all WFA members. Photos must have been taken within the last 18 months. Enter your photo by December 1.

WFA Board Elections
Nominations are now being accepted for open seats on the WFA Board of Directors and Service Member Board. As a member, you can have a say in who represents you, who will help set the strategic direction of the association and guide WFA towards its envisioned future. Members in good standing with the association are eligible to nominate an individual or run for an open seat. Incumbents seeking re-election do not require a nomination.
- Sacramento Area Chair on WFA Board: Regina Goody, Yuba-Sutter Fair CEO, is running for re-election. View nomination form.
- Southern Area Chair on WFA Board: Barbara Quaid, Ventura County Fair CEO, is running for re-election. View nomination form.
- Service Member Board Position on WFA Board: Ken McMeans, Ken McMeans Presents, is running for re-election. View nomination form.
- Carnival Division Chair on Service Member Board: Chris Lopez, Ray Cammack Shows, is running for re-election. View nomination form.

Fall Managers' Conference
The California fair industry, like many other states, is facing historical funding changes, economic challenges and uncertain answers. Our best defense is a good offense. Learn how to Take Charge of Your Destiny at this year's Fall Managers' Conference, November 5-7 in Sacramento, sponsored by the California Fair Services Authority. Register now.
The program starts on Monday afternoon with discussions and strategies for the future of fair funding. Make sure you attend this session and provide input. On Tuesday author and advocate Roger Rickard will deliver his keynote Empowering People to Make a Difference in Their Communities. We will then move quickly into core issues of governance, fundraising and surviving the Great Recession.

At the annual WFA Convention, WFA celebrates the achievements of leaders and innovators in our membership during the Industry Awards Celebration.
