APC Youth Ministry News - December 12, 2011

Issue: 14
December 2011
Greetings!

We had over 60 youth at our annual Christmas party last night and they donated over $500 in gift cards and gifts for kids in Foster Care in Hall County.  Thanks to everyone for your generosity.

The kids were really creative with their tacky Christmas garb!  Special shout outs to Carl Appen, Meaghan Bybee and Ashley Orris for their creativity.  And thanks to the Burtons for hosting us in their beautiful home again this year!

Our Youth Leadership Team will NOT meet on December 14; and this will be our last newsletter for 2011.  We're working hard to continue improving our communications in 2012, look for a new and improved website coming soon.

We'd love to hear from you about communications.  If you have any suggestions for the newsletter, website, or any other youth ministry related communications, please e-mail me.   This is your family's youth ministry and I welcome your feedback.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

In Christ,

Kelly Edwards, Director of Youth Ministries

Sunday Night Youth Group

Connecting at Youth Group

Join us Sunday evening for a fun evening of caroling at some neighborhood senior homes.  We'll eat dinner at 5:15 and then head out to spread some Christmas cheer around our community.

Sunday will be our last Youth Group of 2011.  Our next Youth Group will be on Sunday, January 8, 2012.  Why not make a New Year's Resolution to attend Youth Group more regularly?  We promise you won't regret the time spent with your brothers and sisters in faith!

Sunday School for Youth

Sunday School

Sunday School for Middle & High School

We encourage all youth to attend Sunday School on Sunday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 am.  Our Sunday School classes meet in the upstairs youth area of the education building.

It's never too late to join a Sunday School class.  Come as often as you can, make new friends while you learn how to live in the Word.

To learn more about the curriculum in each Sunday School Class, visit the Youth Website Sunday School Page.
