5th Sunday - THIS SUNDAY
DON'T FORGET, THIS SUNDAY IS OUR 5TH SUNDAY!
We are asking Bridge folks to provide the school supplies for backpacks. (Anyone who has the means, and would like to, could bring more backpacks since I think we're going to have LOTS of school supplies.)
- Here is what each student needs for school:
-
Crayola crayons
-
Colored pencils
-
No. 2 pencils
-
pencil top erasers
-
glue sticks
-
school scissors
-
spiral notebooks
- In addition, we would like to provide the
elementary teachers with kleenex, hand sanitizer, etc. for their
classrooms. Classroom supply needs are:
-
Facial tissue
-
Disinfecting wipes
-
Hand sanitizer
- We'd also like to save and bring in "Box Tops for
schools". They are found on a variety of food items like General Mills
cereal, Betty Crocker brownies, and Pilsbury crescent rolls. Deb Dalm
will be putting out a container to collect these. They can be used to
help provide milk for students in need.
- Plus we'll have goodie bags with some baked goods for the families of the kids and, hopefully, some children's medicines provided by Perrigo.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL BE MEETING AT ALLEGAN HIGH SCHOOL (NOT at the Bridge Building) at 9am to sort the supplies and pack the backpacks and then we will go out in groups to deliver them.

Pray

________________________________________
Please continue to pray for:
- Ashley Holland, daughter of Rick and Teresa Holland as she recovers.
- The whole Holland/Dillon family as they continue to mourn the death of Matt Dillon, especially Abby, Matt's wife, and their kids.
- The brother of Jesse Vasconcelos as he recovers from an overdose in Boston.
- Michele Bird and her family as they mourn the death of her brother, Scott Marsh, and attend his memorial this week.
- Pray for the hurting folks in Allegan who need to know they have One who loves them more than they know.
~Roger

What is the Bridge?
The Bridge is a church in Allegan, Michigan that
is for the beaten-up, the burned-out, and the just plain bored. If you spend time with us, you will hear that a
lot - it is a central idea of how we want to interact with the community
around us.
We want to be a place that
reflects the love of Jesus. Everyone is welcome, with
no prerequisites of church background or prior belief. Bring your faith
and your doubt, your joy and your tears, your praise and your
selfishness. We're not perfect, but we'll love you as best as we can.

Thanks for supporting the
Bridge! Let us know if we can help you in any way.
