Baptism and the Lamb of God
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
This is the one I meant when I said, 'A man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me. I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel."
Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on Him. I
would not have known Him, except that the One who sent me to baptize
with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and
remain is He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God."

 | Bridge Youth Fun Day!

Who: Jr. & Sr. Highers What: Fun at Miner Lake Where: The DeKryger's House When: Friday, August 14 from 1-5pm Why?: Just for fun...that's why it's a FUN day! Stuff to bring to the Youth Fun Day:-Bring some snacks for later in the afternoon
-Bring a towel and sunscreen
-Bring a couple bucks to help out with gas for the boat if you can-Bring folding chairs if you got 'em-Bring your parents along if they're available (it's a good excuse to hang out at the lake!)Directions to the DeKryger's:- Take M-222
- Go north on 24th Street
- Turn left on 118th Street
- Turn right on Stony Point Drive (dirt road)
- Follow first curve to the left
- After curve road splits, stay to the right
- Road will dead end at the DeKryger's house. It's a big, 3-story house.

| Bridge Baptisms and
All-church lake party!
Sunday, August 23 after church

Baptisms are a great reason to have a party and we all know that the Bridge loves to party! So, pack a picnic basket, bring some lawn chairs or a blanket, and come to our first corporate baptisms after church on August 23 on Miner Lake.
Everyone is invited!

 | 5th Sunday
August 30
| 
Our next 5th Sunday is on August 30th. We have some great projects lined up to help out some individuals around town who could use a hand. Most of us will be painting and scraping so dress accordingly and please bring paint brushes if you have them!
We will meet at 9am in the high school parking lot on the 30th and then go to our respective job sites from there.
REMINDER: We will NOT have regular Sunday worship on August 30th!
