This Sunday

This week we will begin a 6 week series on Reggie McNeal's book "The Present Future" and the Church's journey back to Biblical effectiveness and cultural relevance. _______________>
New Realities: 6 Tough Questions for the Church Today
Question #1 - How do we move from "Churchianity" to Christianity
Exodus 19:5-6 Now if you will obey Me and keep My covenant, you will be My own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to Me. And you will be My kingdom of priests, My holy nation.' This is the message you must give to the people of Israel."
1 Peter 2:9 "...YOU are a chosen people. YOU are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, YOU can show others the goodness of God, for He called YOU out of the darkness into His wonderful light.."

 | A "Thank You" from Tami from Seeds of Grace | Hi Roger,
Thank you so much for all the hard work with amazing attitude. I never
dreamed we would get that much work done in so little time.
I have been doing this (running crews for building/etc.) for most of my
adult life. Lots of small projects, and for 8 years, the very large
production in GR from the ground up.
I have NEVER had a body of people work so diligently, so efficiently or so happily, ever.
I am impressed and amazed in every aspect.
It was a joy having you and your organization help jump start both the
clinic and the haunted house. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by myself
in that space. Now I can move forward in my building plans.
I have a few people wanting to help again, that is a huge plus. Please,
please, pass on my sincere gratitude to all of the volunteers. It was a
pleasure to meet all of you and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Thanks again,
Tami
e-mail for seeds volunteering is seedsvolunteer@live.com. I will have a schedule and calendar soon, and in the near future, updates, special needs, and special build days.
We will be building decks, water features, and many cool things, I will try to let you know in advance what's coming up. __________________________ |

 | LifeWalk Lakeshore Pregnancy Center of Allegan's annual
fundraiser June 20th
|
From Rachel Hill, Director
Lakeshore Pregnancy Center of Allegan's annual
fundraiser LifeWalk is right around the corner!! LifeWalk is
June 20th at the park on the corner of Marshall (M89) and Fifth
Streets. (One of the parks that The Bridge cleaned up back in April...thank
you so much...this was a big help to us too, as we usually have to rake it
before LifeWalk, but thanks to you...we will not have to rake this year!)
The walk will begin at 9am, with registration beginning at 8:30am. It is
a two mile walk, and since it is a fundraiser for the pregnancy center we do
ask the walkers to get sponsors. All the money raised will stay right her
in Allegan! LifeWalk is a fun family event, with a praise team, games for
the kids, and of course food! Rachel would love to see a big representation
from The Bridge!!
