The Bridge has a group on Facebook that I'd really like to use as a two-way communication tool and an online community for us!

It's a great way for us to stay connected to one another throughout the week and for you to get a hold of me.  We can also communicate to one another about get togethers (birthday parties, bon fires, etc.) and anything else that's going on in our lives both good and bad.

If you don't already have a Facebook account it is very simple and FREE.  Just go to www.facebook.com and fill out the brief information blocks and you're in!  Once you have a Facebook account just type "the Bridge" into the search window in the upper right hand corner to find the Bridge's group page.

Then you can look for info, discussions, event reminders and random thoughts on here regularly or post your own!

United Way "Join Hands Day"

Get your rakes back out because the United Way is sponsoring another opportunity for us to serve Allegan by participating in their "Join Hands Day" on Saturday, May 2. 

We will be giving back to our community by helping with spring clean-up at two different agencies in town:  Sylvia's Place (domestic violence shelter) and the Dialysis Center. 

Please talk to Lisa for details and let her know if you and your family can be there!  More information to come.

A Thank You from Allegan Parks Department

We received a "Thank You" letter from the Allegan Public Works and Parks Department thanking us for our 5th Sunday clean up of Rossman Park and helping to beautify Allegan.

They also told us in person that Rossman Park has never looked so good!  I love it!

Thanks so much to all of you who gave up their Saturday morning (we postponed our 5th Sunday because of weather) and worked so hard to bless the city of Allegan!

P.S. Our next 5th Sunday is May 31st

Greeters

We'd like to find people who would be excited to greet folks coming into church on Sunday mornings.  It's important that EVERYONE coming to the Bridge on Sunday mornings, new folks AND regular attenders, be met with a smile and a warm welcome.

Our goal is to get enough people so greeters would only be on the schedule once every 6-8 weeks.
