What a great day we had last Sunday!  Over 130 people came to participate in the official launch of the Bridge including 15-20 from Gun Lake Community Church.

Worship was awesome thanks to our band: Lisa DeKryger, Mike Villar, Brandon Andrus, Greg Howard and Mike Matthews.  The name of Jesus was lifted up.  Folks seemed responsive to the message and, to top it off, Bud Johnson and his crew brought pizza for all of us for lunch afterwards!

Thanks to everyone for their support, especially the folks from GLCC!  We're off to a great start!

Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting
We meet every Tuesday night from 7-8pm to pray for the community of Allegan and for its churches. 

We meet at the Lakeshore Pregnancy Center -114 Chestnut Street (downtown Allegan, near Post Office) Allegan, MI 49010. As the weather gets nicer we'll move out doors and walk as we pray.

Sunday Morning Prayer Walk
A group prayer walks the halls of Allegan High School at 9:45am every Sunday morning before the worship service.  Everybody is welcome!

We Still Need Help in Children's Ministry!
Is it you?

We're just looking for 1 more leader and 1 more helper who want to teach 1st thru 4th graders on a rotational basis (2 weeks on - 2 weeks off, but we can work out those details to suit the volunteers.) 

We will use KidMo and Li'l K curriculum making Sunday mornings easy for leaders and a blast for the kids.

The beauty of KidMo is that first of all, kids LOVE IT!  But secondly, while the kids and parents will feel like you spent all week preparing your lesson, it literally takes next to no preparation on the teacher's part.  It's fun, it's easy, and it can change the lives of kids!

Stuff to Pray About

Please pray for:
  • openings for us to minister to the people of Allegan.
  • Continued grace in the eyes of the city leaders. 
  • Unity and love that covers over a multitude of sins (and shortcomings).
  • Vision to move outside our Sunday mornings and bless Allegan, and openness from the community.
  • Fund raising for the Bridge as it grows, as well as the DeKrygers and the Birds personally.
  • A car for the Birds.
