Did You Know?

According to research in 2007 over 70% of the people in Allegan never set foot in a church.

LTG

Start an LTG!
A Life Transformation Group (LTG) is made up of two or three people of the same gender who meet weekly, to discuss their daily Bible reading, to ask each other character-building questions and to pray for pre-Christian family and friends.

Upcoming Events
October 9
PRAYER WALK
Put on your walkin' shoes for our next Prayer Walk on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 6:30pm.  We'll meet at the high school and discuss our game plan for the evening.

It only takes about an hour, but we believe that the amazing results we saw on Sunday are a direct result from these prayer walks and other times of corporate prayer.

October 12
Allegan High SchoolWORSHIP TOGETHER
Sunday at 10:30am at Allegan High School.  We'll worship God through music, teaching, prayer and hanging out together.  Coffee and snacks are provided.

Kids are welcome!  Kids will worship with the adults and then preschool - 4th grade will be excused for some supervised fun time in the adjacent gym while the adults and teens hang around for teaching and prayer.

Come and check us out!

October 19
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE BRIDGE'S FIRST GROUP OUTING!Crane's Apple Orchard

On Oct. 19, bring your picnic baskets or hibachi grills to church because right after our Sunday morning gathering we're going to do a little tailgating at Jaycee Park and then we'll caravan over to Crane's Apple Orchard in Fennville to pick apples, go through the corn maze (we hear from other Bridge members that it's tougher than you think!), or just walk around their gorgeous orchards with other folks from the Bridge.

Crane's is located at 6017 124th Ave, 1.5 miles west of Fennville on M-89 on the north side of the road. Or, if coming from I-96, take exit 34 (the Fennville exit) and continue east 4.5 miles. We'll be on your left. Watch for the barn pictured at right with large apples and peaches on it.

Answers to what you've already prayed...
  • We had over 50 people at our first meeting at Allegan High School and we were missing some of our regular attenders!  God continues to do more than we can ask or imagine!
  • We have had the privilege of meeting and ministering to more and more hurting people who see their desperate need for God's love and healing.
  • God has opened the door for Roger to become part of the City Council's Downtown Development Authority giving us more opportunity to help Allegan as a church and to impact the community.
Stuff that still needs praying for...
  • Protection, provision and healing for the people of the Bridge.  It's no coincidence that as we are starting this new venture that the enemy is coming in trying to wreak havoc.  We're all under attacks of various kinds so please pray for all of us!
  • We would like to raise $20,000 to help pay for our Church on Wheels package that we need for our official launch in January.  Pray that God would raise up the givers.
  • More workers for the harvest.
