Dear Colleagues,
Be the Hope
It has been a month and seven days since the devastating earthquake in Haiti.  The tremendous loss of life and the continuing suffering of the people is beyond comprehension.

With respect to Haiti, I want to report on several matters.  The financial giving in these first five weeks is amazing.  As of today $12,000,000 (twelve) million dollars has been received according to the Treasurer's office.  There has been strong on-line giving which, we believe, includes many first time donors.

Because of your generosity, lives have been changed. AIDS is a  global problem. Incredible ministry is occurring in 33 countries because of the United Methodist Church. Thank you for being bearers of hope and belonging. Continue to support the Global AIDS Fund - UMCOR Advance Special # 982345.
