Seventh annual Metro Ministry Academy in April |
Powell UMC (host site for this event) and McKendree UMC have forged an urban/suburban partnership based upon the giftedness of both churches. Partnering requires being radical in our perceptions of one another while identifying the gifts God has endowed upon us. This year's Metro Ministry Academy will be an interactive event involving more than just gift assessment. We invite you to bring your church team, partner team or ministry teams and we will open our minds to a broader understanding of Radical Hospitality. Scholarships are available for the training portion - registration deadline is March 27th. [more] |

It is important to remember this event and to be ever vigilant about racism and its many faces. [more] |
